Orthocology is a relatively new field of study in the field of biomedical justice discovery by Serwaa Akua Manu JU.J, BM.J on September 26, 2023. Orthocology is a new branch of Biomedical Justice focused on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those related to the cranial, spine, joints, and phalanges. It involves examining patients to diagnose and identify issues, and then developing a treatment plan best suited to the individual's needs using Biomedial procedures. Orthocologists use a variety of techniques to help patients manage their pain and improve their mobility. The field of orthopedic surgery has been around for centuries, but the discovery of orthocology has been largely credited to the work of Serwaa Akua Manu, JU.J, BM.J.
Manu a Ghanaian Houstonian, has been working in the medical system for several years, and her research has brought new insights into the field of biomedical justice. Serwaa's discovery was based on interviews with several medical professionals about standing for so long on their feet, and the type of shoes worn. During her research, she compared the three-floor materials used in the building and the distance between workrooms to patient rooms.
She observed that the medical staff often walk long distances carrying heavy equipment, which caused them to experience pain and discomfort. She noted that the materials used in the building were often too hard and provided little support for their feet. Furthermore, she noticed that the distance between workrooms and patient rooms was too far, which made them walk even longer distances. She realize that the name Orthopedics causes confusion when it come to general orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics. This brought her to combining the complete studies making into “Orthocology."
Manu JU.J, BM.J, is best known for her work in studying the diseases and injuries associated with the phalanges, including fractures, arthritis, and tendonitis. She also explores the treatment options available for such injuries and diseases.
Manu continue her extensive research on the effects of orthopedic surgery on the body. Manu is developing new techniques for treating orthopedic conditions that can reduce pain and improve the ability of patients to function in everyday life. She has also developed methods to enhance recovery after orthopedic surgery.
Manu’s work on the discovery of the new study that combines all the studies of the musculoskeletal system into one category called "orthocology" has helped to bring new perspectives to biomedical justice. Her research has provided insight into the effects of orthopedic surgery on the body and the development of new techniques for treatment. Through her work, Manu is going to help improve the quality of life for people who suffer from orthopedic conditions. Manu’s research has also helped to bring new light to the field of biomedical justice and her work is helping to advance the field of orthocology.
Orthocology benefits to the Justice System
Orthocology studies the injuries that occur in the prison system, which is a field of research that focuses on the physical injuries to the musculoskeletal system that individuals suffer in prison. This includes a range of physical injuries, from minor cuts and bruises to more serious injuries such as broken bones or traumatic skull injuries. The studies also focus on providing studies to a variety of professionals, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and criminal justice professionals, who work together to better understand the causes of these injuries and identify ways to prevent them.
By understanding the causes of the injuries, it is possible to better design and implement practices that are supportive to reduce the risk of physical injuries in prisons. Orthocology sheds light on effective policies and protocols that help to minimize the risk of injury in prisons. The goal of orthocology studies is also to help improve the safety and health of prisoners and to prevent future injuries from occurring.
The field of orthopedic surgery has been around for centuries, but the discovery of orthocology has been largely credited to the work of Serwaa Akua Manu Ju.J, BM.J.
